In the late months of 2007, Stone Slaves came to life in a rehearsal room overlooking a backyard in Alcacer do Sal, a small town in the Alentejo, Portugal. In 2012, more than 50 concerts later, 'Tear Down These Walls' appears on the strength of four years of road grit and determination and the gathering with composer/producer Marco Jung.
